Residential Project – Notting Hill, London

This project involved the complete end-to-end refurbishment of a top-floor flat situated within the prestigious Hereford Mansions, a luxury apartment block in Notting Hill, London. Unlike many of TP Construction’s previous undertakings, this particular project saw a close collaboration with an interior designer rather than an architect, allowing for a highly detailed and aesthetically driven approach to the renovation.

The Refurbishment Process: Honouring Tradition with Modernity

The refurbishment encompassed a wide range of intricate tasks. Our expert team of carpenters undertook the painstaking work of refurbishing all sash windows, restoring them to their former glory while ensuring modern functionality. Similarly, all internal doors, ornate cornices, elegant ceiling roses, and detailed architraves were either refurbished or meticulously reproduced to perfectly match the existing traditional aesthetic. This commitment to preserving and enhancing the property’s historical character was paramount throughout the project.

The main reception rooms, adorned with a soothing light blue palette, feature classic fireplaces that serve as focal points. • The kitchen was completely redesigned with a striking contemporary feel, featuring vibrant blue cabinetry and warm wooden countertops, offering a perfect blend of style and functionality.
• The bathroom, a serene retreat, combines classic fixtures with a light and airy feel, featuring a traditional bathtub and a stylish vanity.
• Even the views from the flat were considered, offering glimpses of the surrounding Notting Hill architecture and greenery, connecting the interior with its vibrant urban setting.
