On Monday, 28th April 2026, our team headed to the EH Smith Design Centre in London for a bespoke Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session focused on the FastClad A2 brickslip system.
As we prepare to implement this advanced system at our 30 Old Street project, ensuring every member of our team is an expert in the technology is a top priority.
Hands-On Technical Training To Ensure Successful Cladding Remediation
The session was hosted by industry expert Shaun Crosskey, who provided an in-depth look at the “FastClad A2” masonry-faced cladding solutions. This specific system is designed for high-performance steel construction, offering a lightweight yet durable alternative to traditional brickwork.
The training covered critical technical details, including:
Precision Installation: Understanding the horizontal spacing requirements for helping hand brackets.
Structural Integrity: Reviewing the specific fixing codes and requirements for the Isopad profiles
Quality Assurance: Examining physical mock-ups to ensure the aesthetic finish meets the architectural intent of 30 Old Street.
A Collaborative Team Effort in Brick Slip Cladding Remediation
Success on-site is a result of seamless communication between management and those on the tools. This CPD session was attended by our full project leadership and delivery team, including:
